Netpointe.com is a privately-held Internet Service Provider (ISP) and Application Service Provider (ASP) in Southern Indiana.
Our Origin...
Netpointe.com opened its virtual doors in November of 1982 as a Bulletin Board System (BBS) known as Local Access. There was no public internet then, but people still communicated online through systems such as ours. We were the first BBS in the Louisville, KY metropolitan area to offer a multi-line online system giving people a decent choice from commercial online systems like CompuServe, The Source and Prodigy when people were paying up to $7.95/hour to be online.
In 1993 we started offering internet email services and in late 1994 we began offering internet access services.
Our Present...
Today, things are more exciting than ever. Continuing our trend of success, we continue to explore new opportunities and services for our customers.
Life is good. Our entire business operates on one set of principles; Do good work, find solutions, have fun doing it, and make a living in the process.
Our Future...
Having been in this industry for almost 25 years, we've learned a great deal about the art of adaptation. As the Internet continues to change (and it will... constantly), we will continue to pursue the latest opportunities for our customers.
